The Viewing

I can't seem to find the words to describe Ellie's viewing right now.
I think I'll just let the pictures tell the story for now.
A million thank yous to Kacie and Whitney who literally worked around the clock all week to make sure everything was perfect - and it was!

At one point I turned to the next person in line and was shocked to see some of our 4p family, the Rodgers. Sarah, Stetson, Brooklyn, and baby Jett made the drive all the way from Idaho to be there. I was so happy to see them. My family absolutely loved meeting Brooklyn and Stetson and are still talking about how darling they are. I will never forget the way Stetson and Brooklyn loved on Ellie when we first met them. I am so grateful to Sarah for coming.

It was a wonderful night spent honoring Ellie and how victoriously she lived her life. We were blown away by the number of people who were there. It was amazing to hear how Ellie had touched and inspired people's lives with her story.

Wish I could have been there. So touching someone from your 4p family drove so far to come. The bubbles in the wreath and flower arrangements are absolutely perfect. Thank you for posting pictures.

The viewing was so beautifully done. I could tell how much love and care went into making every detail perfect. I love the photo of your family kneeling looking at her. What an amazing legacy she left, and how many lives she has touched. That is so awesome that some of your 4p family came too. Much love to you guys!

I still can't believe I missed Sarah and her kids by mere minutes. The viewing was beautiful. I'm pretty sure no one knew what to say. Sometimes there just aren't words. :(

Her viewing was perfect. As I stood in the hall, I looked at each and every one of Ellie's rememberance things. From her tiny clothes, to her pacifier and trach tubing. So sweet that some of her 4p family came. She was so loved. I'm sure you will treasure these pictures forever.

You all did such a beautiful job of honoring Ellie that night. The thing I felt so strongly when I was there was gratitude that I'd been able to meet Ellie a few times during her life. She impacted me each of those times, and I truly consider it a privilege to have been around her!
