It's been a while since I posted about my pregnancy, but with our little girl's arrival just 3 weeks away I thought I'd do a little update. We are getting very excited for the arrival of our Baby Sister. Mason talks about her all of the time. I didn't know if he would be old enough to really understand what's going on, but he does. He knows there is a baby girl in mama's tummy and that she will come out soon. Every day he tells me about all the things that will happen when "baby siser come out". He is excited to "Hold It!" (said while wrapping his arms around himself giving a hug), "change diaper", "seep in crib", "push sing", "shoot with baby siser" (I've tried to explain that baby sister won't be playing basketball with him for a little while), "baby siser use gwama's baby sweep" (he got a second baby sweep from grandma's house and apparently he is going to give it to baby sister), and "baby siser drink milk" just to name a few things. I am not worried about him loving this little girl, but loving her to death. He is going to be a very protective older brother from the beginning. I'll be lucky if he lets me take care of her at all.
As you can tell we refer to her as Baby Sister, and up until last week it looked like that might be the only name she would ever get. We have had an exceptionally hard time coming up with a name we like. At one point Mason suggested the name Snowman and for a while that was the best option we had. But he's changed his mind and has decided we should now name her Thumper, which happen's to be the name of his cousin's pet bunny. While we are taking his suggestion into consideration, Scott and I have finally come up with a couple names we like for our baby girl. We like the names Brynn and Jane. We like both of the names but I like Brynn more and Scott likes Jane more. What do you think? I think we will probably have to see her before we decide which name, but for the time being those are the options.

You look so dang cute! Grandma told me your due date got moved up by 10 days or so! Isn't that welcome news! Can't wait to see pictures when she gets here! Very cute names in the running! Janie is cute, but I love the name Brynn! Good luck these last couple of weeks!
I love that picture! You look so good pregnant. Man, Mason is so cute - I love all the things he wants to do with his baby sister! Both of your names are cute...I think I'd lean towards Brynn a little more, but whatever you name her will fit her and will be perfect.
So Stacie had her baby??!!? Holy cow, that happened so fast after we saw her! Have you heard how it all went? Do you know what they named her? Whatever info you have, I'd love to hear. It was so fun seeing you and I'm excited to hang out more when we move down.
I agree, I like both names, but am leaning towards Brynn. Possibly because when I was growing up there was a lady down the street named Brynn and she was the prettiest and nicest lady with the most adorable little girls. So maybe it's the association that makes me like it, but maybe not because I have two aunts named Jane and I still prefer the name Brynn.

I know what you mean about Mason loving her to death. When I was on the phone with my sister yesterday she had to keep stopping her boys from killing their baby brother because they just wanted to hold him and play with him. It's pretty cute, I bet Mason will be the same way!
You look amazing! Brynn and Jane are two of my favorite names! I have a niece Jane so we can't use it but Brynn is on our list for the next baby. We kinda already know the name for this one...early I know :) I can't wait to see your little girl!

Although I like both names, I can't really tell you what to name your child...but I do know that seeing our little one did absolutely nothing for helping us decide. :) It was more like everyone was already calling her Sunnie Delight. :) Good luck!
What a sweet picture! Mason is my favorite! I love all the things he said about his baby sister. As far as names go, I think I follow my brothers taste and like Jane a little better. Probably for the same reason that Brynn will always be my cousin but it is really cute so I like it too. We will love her either way so good luck!!
