Hide and Seek

Miles acts as if life is one big game of hide and seek.  He never misses an opportunity to squeeze into a narrow space, duck behind a piece of furniture, or pull something over his eyes. It cracks me up to watch him hold as still as a statue and chuckles as we say, "where's Miles?".  He thinks he is invisible until you make eye contact with him and then he'll burst out laughing. My favorite is when we are out in public and he will take off running. When I call out his name for him to come back he will instantly drop to his hands and knees and crawl behind the nearest object then hold perfectly still,  usually with his little bum poking out, until he thinks the coast is clear, then he'll take off again. I love and appreciate my Bubba's carefree attitude.

I haven't been checking anyone's blog because blogspot wouldn't let me update my blog. I just read that your expecting again. Hooray - so happy for you. Your kids are adorable. Miss hanging out with you (but it is good to be out of school) :) hope you are feeling great.

Ooooh...Miles is so adorable and it makes me sad that the last time I saw his he was what...maybe 4 months old? He's like a full blown kid now! I just realized I never responded to your email, I win the prize for worst friend! Patrick and I are going on a little trip on Sunday til Thursday next week, but maybe we can get together before or after that? I miss you guys!

By the way, your comment on my blog about all the time-outs that had to be called in volleyball when I lost a contact made me laugh out loud at the gym this morning. I had totally forgotten about that...ah good times. :)
